Palace keen to sign Orient’s Bonne but face stiff competition

Crystal Palace are among the teams in the running to sign National League striker Macauley Bonne, but face competition from Premier League rivals Leicester.

As per a report from the Non-League Paper, a host of clubs are interested in signing the player, but it is the Foxes who are confident of securing his services.

Fulham, Crystal Palace, Huddersfield, Newcastle and Norwich have all been linked with moves to sign the striker following his impressive run of form this season.

Bonne’s performances in the National League have not been going unnoticed, having scored 17 goals in 24 games for Orient.

The ex-Colchester man has fired the club to the top of the National League and the O’s are now expected to face a fight to keep hold of him either in January or at the end of the season.

Palace are in desperate need of a striker in January and Bonne could prove to be a potential bargain for Roy Hodgson’s men.
