Roy Hodgson has confirmed that midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate will miss the home match against Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
As reported on Football London, the midfielder suffered an injury in the 1-1 draw against Southampton on Wednesday evening.

The former West Ham United man injured his ankle but continued to play until the final whistle at the St Mary’s Stadium as the Eagles picked up a hard-fought point.
Hodgson said:
It’s not looking that bad, but one player who will miss tomorrow is Cheikhou Kouyate because he twisted his ankle during the first half [against Southampton], but carried on for the second half.
We’re hoping it won’t be that serious, but it will keep him out tomorrow.
Kouyate has worked himself into the Palace starting lineup and has put in some impressive performances in recent weeks.
Hodgson is hoping that the Senegalese will only need a few days to recover from the problem.
