Crystal Palace and Everton are both interested in a deal for Montpellier right-back Ruben Aguilar this summer.
According to Calcio Mercato, the pair are keen to bring him to the Premier League ahead of next season.
Aguilar has impressed at right-back for Montpellier in Ligue 1 this season and is now starting to attract interest from Palace and other interested parties.
The 25-year-old has one goal and two assists from 21 league appearances this season, but he is yet to be capped at senior level.
Crystal Palace may be looking at Aguilar as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has been linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs – including Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.
Aguilar joined Montpellier from Auxerre in 2017 and has been a regular at right-back over the past year.
Palace currently sit 13th in the Premier League, but are only three points above the relegation zone.
