Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho has suggested his future at Selhurst Park is in doubt as the Frenchman wants to play international football again.
Before the season started, there was speculation regarding the French defender and a move away from the club because he wanted to earn a recall back to his national team.

Sakho joined Palace from Liverpool back in 2017 for £26 million after a successful loan spell at the club but after speaking to French football magazine Telefoot, citied on the Sutton & Croydon Guardian, Sakho suggests that he is aiming to get back into Didier Deschamps’ team.
I am enjoying myself at Crystal Palace, but in life you never know what will happen tomorrow.
I am not especially thinking about EURO 2020 but everyone who knows me knows I am ambitious.

The former Liverpool man has been out of action since February after tearing his meniscus and has claimed he won’t play another Premier League match for the Eagles this season.
I will be back to play in mid-June, and in July the lion will be back! I’ve been lucky and my meniscus is fully repaired.
The tough tackler made his France debut back in 2010 and has since gone on to make 29 appearances across a nine-year spell but Sakho still has international football in his sights.

Many people may have though that ‘Mamas’ was buried or forgotten but in my head this was not the case. Of course I still have the France team in sight. If I was reminded, it’s because the France team has an eye on me too.
