Manchester United drop interest in Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United have been forced to drop their interest in Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United have been priced out of a move for the defender after Palace demanded £70m for the England under-21 international.

Wan-Bissaka nailed down his place in the Palace team this season and played in 35 of the club’s 38 Premier League matches, catching the eye at right-back.

The report claims that Palace do not want to cash in on Wan-Bissaka, which is why they have slapped a £70m price tag on his head – which would make him the most expensive right-back in the history of football.

United are said to be turning to PSG and Belgium right-back Thomas Meunier now, which is sure to come as good news to Palace – with one less club looking to sign one of their star players this summer.

Roy Hodgson will hope to still have Wan-Bissaka in his side next season as the club look to push on in the league.
