Crystal Palace have shown interest in Reece James and now The Daily Post claim Everton have set their sights on the full back who is valued at £15 million.
James was on loan from Chelsea at Championship side Wigan Athletic for the full 2018/19 season and was quite successful in his time there – bagging three goals and three assists.
Crystal Palace could be in need of a right-back if talented defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaves the club this summer.
However, Everton are reportedly looking for a young, successful player to replace Seamus Coleman who has had a troubled season and has not made much of an impact at the Premier League side.
Reece James has progressed immensely throughout his 12 months at Wigan Athletic, and was even named in the EFL Team of the Season. At the young age of 19, he will only get better, which is even more of a reason as to why Crystal Palace have their eyes on him.
Despite all the rumours about his availability, Chelsea are still yet to announce whether or not the youngster is available in the summer transfer window. If he is, it’ll be a tough window for Crystal Palace with competition like Everton.
