Wan-Bissaka’s move to Manchester United confirmed

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who becomes the most expensive defender in the club’s history.

Wan-Bissaka has left Selhurst Park for a fee of £45million plus £5million in add-ons, the biggest Palace have ever received for a player.

Wan-Bissaka has been heavily linked with a move away from Palace throughout the summer, following his impressive season for the club in the Premier League last term.

The right-back was regarded as one of the best full-backs in the division last season, attracting interest from Man United.

He was competing for England’s under-21’s in the European Championships earlier this month, but was dropped after he scored an own-goal in stoppage time in the first match of the tournament to hand France a 2-1 win.

Palace will now be looking to delve into the transfer market to replace Wan-Bissaka heading into the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.
