Wilfried Zaha criticises “sad and annoying” speculation

Palace star Wilfried Zaha has hit out at speculation and rumours linking him with a move away from Selhurst Park this Summer.

Speaking on Twitter, Zaha revealed he felt “sad and annoyed” at people speaking on “things they know nothing about” amid speculation that the Palace attacker will move to Arsenal this Summer.

Zaha’s brother had previously stated that it was Wilfried’s dream to play for Arsenal, and to eventually play in the UEFA Champions League.

However, Zaha has refused to be drawn into the reports linking him with a switch to the Gunners this Summer.

Palace have reportedly valued their man at over £80 million, with no club coming close to that fee so far.

Arsenal have reportedly bid £40 million for Zaha, with that bid being rejected by the Eagles.

However, Unai Emery is set to come in with an improved bid according to the Express, meaning that the long time Palace star may be on his way out of Selhurst.

Since moving back to Palace from Manchester United, Zaha has made over 180 appearances for the Eagles, scoring 35 goals in all competitions.
