Palace considering £5m move for Diaz
Crystal Palace are considering a £5m deal to sign Al-Ahli Saudi FC fullback Paulo Diaz this summer.
According to The Daily Star, via The BBC, Palace are weighing up whether or not to make an offer for the defender, with a £5m bid being considered.
The report claims that Palace view him as a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who left the club earlier this summer to sign for Manchester United in a £50m deal.
Palace are yet to replace the England under-21 international, but could now do so by bringing Diaz to Selhurst Park.
The 24-year-old, Diaz, joined Al-Ahli from San Lorenzo in the summer of 2018 and has played 24 league games for the club to date.
He has also been capped 15 times by Chile at international level and played three times for his country at the Copa America earlier this summer, clearly catching Palace’s eye at the tournament.
