Crystal Palace 2026/27 Key Dates Confirmed as Pierre Sage Faces Everton and Europa League Run

Crystal Palace now have the key dates around Pierre Sage’s first 2026/27 season, with Everton away, Europa League league-phase nights and domestic cup rounds all fixed into the calendar.

The club’s latest diary note, published through the official Crystal Palace date guide, gives supporters a clearer view of the season Sage is about to inherit after replacing Oliver Glasner at Selhurst Park.

Palace begin their Premier League campaign at Everton on Saturday, 22 August, but the wider shape of the campaign is the real point. The Eagles are not just preparing for 38 league matches. They also have eight Europa League league-phase matchdays to absorb, plus Carabao Cup, FA Cup and international windows.

Why Palace’s calendar now matters for Sage

That makes July and August more than a normal pre-season bedding-in period. Sage must quickly judge which senior players can handle repeated midweek travel, which fringe options can carry early cup minutes, and how much squad depth Palace still need before the transfer deadline.

The manager’s first league assignment at Goodison Park will naturally draw attention, but the bigger test is rhythm. Palace’s recent success has lifted expectations, and European football changes the weekly workload before the season has properly settled.

For supporters, the confirmed date list is a useful planning document. For Sage, it is a warning that Palace’s next step is about managing a bigger campaign, not simply enjoying one.
