Millwall Fixture Sharpens Palace U21s Summer Plan
The update strengthens an already varied July schedule for the young Eagles. Palace previously confirmed fixtures against Dagenham & Redbridge, Horsham FC and QPR Development Squad, giving Powell’s group a mix of senior non-league opposition and academy-level tests before the new campaign.
That matters after Palace secured a third straight Premier League 2 play-off place in 2025/26, beating Liverpool in the last 16 before exiting against Manchester United.
For supporters tracking the wider summer calendar, the Millwall game now lands between Horsham away on 28 July and QPR at the Academy on 11 August, while the first team’s own key dates include Bromley and the Como Cup as part of Palace’s broader 2026/27 build-up.
It is a behind-closed-doors fixture rather than a supporter event, but it gives Palace’s development squad another physically demanding examination against familiar local opposition.
