Crystal Palace have identified Trabzonspor midfielder Tim Jabol-Folcarelli as a transfer target, with Hull City also interested in the Frenchman.
Foot Mercato reports that Palace like Jabol-Folcarelli, while Trabzonspor are reluctant to let him leave.
The Turkish club have set an asking price of around €7m to €8m. Foot Mercato also reports that Hull City are in the race, with Saudi side Al-Taawoun making a loan offer with an option to buy.
Jabol-Folcarelli, 26, joined Trabzonspor from Ajaccio in February 2025. He has since impressed in Turkey and built interest across several markets.
ReadCrystalPalace has already covered how Palace’s move for Oscar Mingueza points to a more proactive transfer plan under Pierre Sage. Interest in Jabol-Folcarelli would fit the same theme.
Palace Look For Midfield Value
Palace need more depth before a season that includes European football.
Jabol-Folcarelli would not arrive as a headline signing, but the price makes him an interesting option. A deal at €7m to €8m would sit in a sensible range for a squad player with upside.
The midfielder is physically strong, experienced in France and Turkey, and still at an age where he can adapt to a higher level.
For Sage, that matters. Palace need players who can cope with a longer calendar, especially if transfer pressure builds around Adam Wharton later in the window.
Trabzonspor’s stance may slow the move. They do not want to sell, and Palace have competition.
But this is the type of market Palace should explore. Smart depth, controlled cost and a player who could grow into a useful role at Selhurst Park.
