Crystal Palace winger Yeremy Pino could become a World Cup winner when Spain face Argentina in Sunday’s final.
The European champions meet the defending world champions in New Jersey, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 BST.
Pino has not featured since suffering an acromioclavicular joint sprain during Spain’s final group match against Uruguay. However, the 23-year-old is available for selection if Luis de la Fuente decides to use him.
The winger watched from the bench as Spain defeated Belgium in the quarter-finals before overcoming France 2-0 in the last four.
Palace’s official World Cup tracker confirmed Pino was an unused substitute in the semi-final but now stands on the brink of football’s biggest international prize.

Victory over Argentina would give Pino the fourth major senior trophy of his career.
He won the Europa League with Villarreal in 2021 before lifting the Nations League with Spain two years later. Pino then helped Palace win the Conference League last season during his first campaign at Selhurst Park.
The winger missed Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in November 2023.
His latest shoulder problem has limited his World Cup involvement, but Pino could still be called upon during the final. His pace, pressing and ability to carry possession would offer De la Fuente another attacking option from the bench.
