Crystal Palace Women Sign Pauline Peyraud-Magnin on Loan
Crystal Palace Women have signed goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin on loan from Denver Summit FC, according to All For XI. The move hands head coach Jo Potter fresh competition between the posts as the Eagles prepare for life back in the Women’s Super League.
What Peyraud-Magnin brings to Jo Potter’s Palace
The goalkeeper joins from NWSL side Denver Summit FC and steps into a squad that earned its return to the Women’s Super League last season. Potter has spent the summer reshaping her group, and the deal — also reported by WSL Full-Time — adds an experienced option in goal as Palace look to hold their own back in the top flight.
The deal addresses an area Potter has been keen to firm up. Supporters have already tracked the three areas Jo Potter must address ahead of the WSL campaign, and strengthening between the posts sits high on that list.
Palace Women open their WSL campaign later this month, and Peyraud-Magnin’s arrival gives Jo Potter another senior goalkeeper for the step up to the top flight. More squad news is expected before the opening game, but for now the Eagles have added competition and cover in a key position.
