Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this past week, but according to ESPN, the North London club won’t be pursuing their interest in the DR Congo international, as they instead look to bring in a striker and a central midfielder.
Bolasie was a key part of the success than Alan Pardew’s side had last season, and despite recent reports saying that a deal to take him to White Hart Lane was close, ESPN believe that this is not the case.
Spurs have been left frustrated in the last couple of days, with their attempts to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino proving to be unsuccessful as The Baggies first rejected a bid for the striker and then turned down a transfer request from the England Under 21 international.
Mauricio Pochettino is obviously in the market for new players, however, this latest report suggests that Bolasie isn’t one of them.
