Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie is expected to finalise a move to Everton this week, a fee reported to be in the £30million region.
According to the Croydon Advertiser the Eagles are lining up Nottingham Forest starlet Oliver Burke as a replacement for the wide-man.
A deal for Burke could cost up to £8million, the 19-year-old Scot has a good reputation at Nottingham Forest and prove to be a coup for Alan Pardew who is desperate to hang on to Bolasie: “He’s a player I don’t want to lose but if I lose him, I am going to replace him with like.”
Palace have also been linked with a move for Manchester United’s Ashley Young, who’s future has become uncertain following the arrival of Jose Mourinho.
Should Bolasie depart, given efficient investment in the right areas Pardew will be looking to improve on last season’s 15th place finish.
A serious dip in form in the second half of the Premier League campaign continued on Saturday with a 1-0 home defeat to Tony Pulis’ West Brom.
Palace fans will be hoping for arrivals in the attacking department and a deal for Forest’s Burke could be just the start as a tough away fixture to Spurs, looms.
