Scott Dann trains ahead of West Ham clash

Crystal Palace have been handed a major boost ahead of this weekend’s game against West Ham after Scott Dann returned to full training.

The Palace captain has been unavailable for selection since injuring his hamstring during the League Cup tie with Southampton in September.

He missed the win at Sunderland and the draw at Everton but the international break came at a welcome time for the scouser as it meant he did not miss any other games for his club.

His return will give Alan Pardew a decision to make in terms of his starting line-up. In the game at home to Stoke, Dann partnered James Tomkins at the back, before the former West Ham man was forced off with an injury.

Damien Delaney came in for the remainder of the game and has started every game since.

However, with Dann now back, Pardew must decide if he will partner Delaney or Tomkins in the heart of Palace’s defence.
