Sam Allardyce faces his former club Sunderland at Selhurst Park where the Eagles will be looking to continue their form from Tuesday night’s win at Bournemouth, which saw them pick up three vital points.
Mamadou Sakho and Luka Milivojevic could debut for Crystal Palace, after signing for the club on transfer deadline day as well as Patrick Van Aanholt getting his first run out at Selhurst Park after debuting against Bournemouth.
At the front-end of the season, the Eagles were 3-2 winners at the Stadium of Light when Ledley, McArthur and Benteke scored the three goals to cancel out Defoe’s opening goals for the hosts.
