Crystal Palace predicted to get relegated

Crystal Palace will be relegated to the Championship, according to a predictions table done by stats and probability, as produced by Sky Sports.

Palace, who fell to 19th place in the Premier League on Saturday after an embarrassing 4-0 defeat at home to fellow relegation rivals Sunderland have a 70% chance of dropping to the Championship next season.

The Eagles are now level on points with David Moyes’ side on 19 points, two points behind Swansea in 17th, as the race for survival starts to heat up.

As well as being relegated, Palace supporters will be unhappy to hear that they’ve been predicted to finish bottom of the league this season, in what would be Sam Allardyce’s first relegation as a Premier League manager.

Palace’s relegation rivals, Hull and Sunderland have a 51% and 60% chance of also falling out of England’s top flight.

Swansea and Leicester look set to narrowly avoid relegation from the Premier League, with those sides only having 38% chance of relegation.
