Frank de Boer oversaw a defeat in his first game in-charge of the Eagles as Liverpool simply overpowered the South London side in the semi-final of the Premier League Asia Trophy.

Goals from Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi in the second half after numerous chances to put the ball into the back of the net throughout the game with Mohamed Salah proving to be Palace’s main issue for the defence.

Wilfried Zaha was the clear man of the match for the Eagles with a number of skills and tricks, starting pre-season as he finished the previous Premier League campaign.

Palace face West Brom in the 3rd/4th play-off game on Saturday morning at 11am at the Hong Kong Stadium.
