In this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast, I review the game against Manchester United by giving you my match review, player rankings as well as my Man of the Match.
Palace surrendered a 2-goal lead. Having fought hard throughout the game, the Eagles deservedly took the lead through Andros Townsend and doubled it, soon after half time, through a quick-thinking goal by Patrick van Aanholt. However, it was heartbreak for Roy Hodgson’s men as Chris Smalling and Romelu Lukaku cancelled out the earlier 2-0 lead. Late into injury time Nemanja Matic struck home the winner meaning, even though they deserved more for their efforts, Palace were left with nothing for their performance.
