Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye’s future is under immense scrutiny at the moment and according to claims from the Mirror, he could be ‘tempted’ into returning to Ligue 1 this summer.
Cabaye sees his contract with Palace expire at the end of June, meaning that he’ll be able to join a new club on a free transfer if he wishes to.
Palace want to keep the experienced Frenchman at Selhurst Park, with a two-year deal reportedly having been offered. However, this contract will entail significantly lower wages than he is currently earning, according to the Mirror.

Marseille have enquired about a move for Cabaye this summer and are seemingly still open to signing the player as he ponders his future.
A move back to his homeland of France appears to be something that the ex-Newcastle star is considering, with the prospect of seeing his wages drop to £45,000 per week leaving him unsure of his future in South London.
Cabaye is claimed by the Mirror to currently be earning £75,000 per week on his concluding deal with the Eagles.
