The Japanese midfielder then turned provider, assisting Jorgen Strand Larsen for the third to send the visiting fans wild. A 3-1 lead is massive given that the second leg takes place next Thursday at Selhurst Park.
Kamada Masterclass
Kamada was the man of the match, putting in an unbelievable shift at both ends of the pitch. He scored and assisted, continuing an impressive goalscoring run in European competition which includes his spell at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Japan international also completed 19 of 24 attempted passes, managed a 100% dribble success, won four of five ground duels and made four passes into the final third. The statistics tell the story of what was a magnificent display.
Kamada played a crucial role in Palace’s FA Cup triumph last season. He’s proving to be just as important in the Conference League.
