According to a recent report from ESPN and their sources, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is all but set to sign a new deal with the club in the coming days.
The Wales international has fierce goalkeeping competition at the club this season after the arrival of free transfer Steve Mandanda this summer but he’ll look to be the first choice shot-stopper under Alan Pardew for the coming years with this new and improved contract.

The 29-year-old started between the sticks in The Eagles’ opening fixture on Saturday against West Brom but was helpless in the defeat as the visitors came away with all three points.
The report claims that, as Hennessey enters the final year of his current deal at Selhurst Park, the club have offered him a new two-year contract extension.
Hennessey joined Crystal Palace at the start of 2014 in the January transfer window from Wolves and has been key in the first-team since his arrival.
