Jean-Philippe Mateta is expected to leave Crystal Palace in 2027 after deciding against signing a new contract, according to Football Insider sources.
The 29-year-old is now entering the final months of his current deal, leaving Crystal Palace with a decision to make over whether to sell him in January or allow his contract to expire at the end of the season.
Several clubs in the Premier League, including Manchester United and clubs across Europe are monitoring the situation, meaning Palace could receive offers when the January transfer window opens.

Mateta has struggled with an injury during the opening stages of the season, limiting his involvement under Pierre Sage. However, Palace still regard him as an important part of their plans.
The club blocked his departure during the summer despite his contract situation. Football Insider previously reported that Palace were demanding £25million for the striker during the final stages of the window.
The Eagles remain prepared to keep Mateta for another season and allow him to leave for free next summer rather than accept an unsuitable offer in January.
Mateta has made little secret of his desire to move on and even attempted to have his contract voided recently.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, Pete O’Rourke explained: “His future is pretty much certain at Palace right now, he’s in the final year of his contract and we do expect him to leave Palace.”
O’Rourke added that the key decision is whether Palace cash in during January or allow Mateta to complete his contract.
The striker came close to leaving last January when a move to Milan was agreed but eventually collapsed after a medical.
