Crystal Palace eye move for Bacary Sagna
Crystal Palace will attempt to sign Manchester City and France full-back Bacary Sagna on a free transfer this summer, according to a report in the print edition of the Mirror.
The 34-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is set to leave City and it looks like Sam Allardyce is looking to bring him to Selhurst Park for a season.
The French full-back already has a reported one-year contract offer on the table from West Ham but he’s yet to sign it and Crystal Palace look set to offer him a similar deal.
Allardyce tried to sign Arsenal’s Carl Jenkinson on loan in January so it looks like he sees right-back as a position where he needs to add some depth and Sagna could be the man he brings in to beef up the squad.
If Sagna does sign for Palace, they’ll become his third Premier League side after both Arsenal and Man City.
