Crystal Palace have valued Tottenham target Wilfred Zaha at close to £40 million, amid reports of interest in the player.

The Times reveal it would take a huge bid for the club to consider selling the player this summer after he has attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham and Manchester City.

Zaha has played a key role in the Palace squad following Sam Allardyce’s arrival at Selhurst Park and it has not gone unnoticed by the Premier League’s elite.

Palace are hoping that a new contract that will see the Ivory Coast international earn around £120,000 per week, the highest paid player in the club’s history, will be enough to keep him at Selhurst Park this summer.

Zaha is aware of Tottenham’s interest in his services and is putting contract talks on hold for now.

Spurs reportedly lodged a £12 million bid for the player over the summer but now face a tough task to be able to land the player again in the upcoming transfer window.
