Palace linked with a move to sign Djibril Sidibe

Crystal Palace have reportedly expressed an interest in Monaco defender Djibril Sidibe.

According to reports from France Football, the player could be signed as a replacement for the recently departed Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

La Liga side Valencia have also emerged as a potential rival in the hunt to sign the Monaco defender, who would arrive with a wealth of experience.

Premier League rivals West Ham are also said to be monitoring the player’s situation, with his future in Ligue 1 unclear.

The report claims that Manchester United and Atletico Madrid were after Sidibe last summer, but the door is once again open for him to leave the Ligue 1 side.

Crystal Palace certainly have the money to spend after Wan-Bissaka completed a big-money move to Manchester United.

Roy Hodgson’s side have been linked with a number of players as they go in search of a replacement for Wan-Bissaka, but Sidibe is certainly a new name to add to that list.
