Crystal Palace are reportedly prepared to cash in on Daniel Munoz this summer, with a fee of around £25 million believed to be enough to convince the Eagles to part ways with the Colombia international.
The right-back has now emerged as a possible target for several Premier League clubs, with Nottingham Forest among those showing interest. As per Graham Bailey, former Palace manager Oliver Glasner is keen on bringing Munoz back under his management after the pair worked together in south London.
Everton are also interested, while Tottenham have been linked with the defender as they prepare for Djed Spence’s expected move to Inter Milan.
Daniel Munoz has plenty of Premier League admirers
Daniel Munoz has established himself as an important player for Crystal Palace since arriving from Genk in January 2024.
The Colombian has made more than 100 appearances for the Eagles and offers something different with his ability to operate as both a conventional full-back and a wing-back.
His performances during the 2025/26 campaign also showed why there is interest in his signature. Muñnz finished the Premier League season with four goals and four assists from 29 appearances.
He also made his mark on the international stage during the recently concluded World Cup. Munoz scored twice for Colombia at the 2026 World Cup before their campaign came to an end with a Round of 16 defeat to Switzerland.
His performances last season under Glasner and at the World Cup has made him an attractive option for clubs looking for an established player in the right-back position.
Crystal Palace have a decision to make on Daniel Munoz
Despite the growing interest, Crystal Palace aren’t under immediate pressure to sell.
Daniel Munoz still has two years remaining on his current contract, while the club also have an option to extend that agreement by another season.
However, the reported £25m valuation could make a summer transfer possible, particularly with multiple Premier League sides apparently monitoring his situation.
Forest’s interest carries an obvious storyline because of Glasner’s presence. The Austrian coach knows Munoz well from his time at Crystal Palace and could see the defender as an ideal addition to his Forest squad.
Tottenham’s interest also makes sense in light of their plans to move Spence on. Munoz’s experience and versatility could make him a potential replacement as they look to strengthen that position.
Everton, meanwhile, are also keeping tabs on the Colombian.
With several clubs showing interest, his future could become one of the more intriguing transfer stories surrounding the Eagles this summer.
