Crystal Palace are believed to be weighing up a loan move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, according to the Croydon Advertiser.
Jose Mourinho is willing to let the young centre-back leave Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan this summer to a fellow Premier League side in order to get more first-team football in his natural position.
The 20-year-old Frenchman impressed for Chelsea during the second half of last season filling in as a third centre-back or a rugged defensive midfielder as Mourinho looked to add defensive stability to his side during the business end of their title-winning campaign.
Zouma would likely come to Selhurst Park to play in his natural centre-back position alongside Scott Dann, who’s just signed a new long-term deal with the club.
Alan Pardew hopes to do more shopping at Stamford Bridge this summer, as striker Loic Remy is still on his radar to add more goals to his side, and having worked with him at Newcastle, he hopes he can lure the Frenchman to the club.
