Palace handed huge injury boost ahead of Norwich trip

Crystal Palace have received a massive injury boost going into the opening game of the season against Norwich City on Saturday.

With Yohan Cabaye returning to training following the dead leg that he picked up in a friendly match against Fulham, they have received another boost with Yannick Bolasie joining up with the rest of the first team squad.

The Palace manager, Alan Pardew, has been playing it safe with Bolasie who has been suffering from a hamstring injury for the past few weeks, it is thought he will still undergo a late fitness test before the trip to newly promoted Norwich City and their home ground Carrow Road.

“Yannick’s trained this week. We have built him up carefully but he looks strong. We’ll see how he is,” assistant Keith Millen said to the Croydon Advertiser.

This will be a massive boost for the manager and the club to have 2 key players possibly fit to start the new season, in what looks a tricky first game away to Alex Neil’s Canaries.
