According to the Daily Mail, Dwight Gayle faces being banished from all first-team activities, if he fails to accept the proposed move to Bristol City who say they have a deal in place with co-chairman Steve Parish for the ex-Peterborough striker.
The Eagles have already accepted a mouth watering bid from the Championship side for their striker, worth up to a reported £8m.

However, the youngster is reluctant to make the switch to Ashton Gate, as he seeks a Premier League move. Gayle has been told that if he doesn’t accept the offer, he’ll be forced to train with the under-21’s at Selhurst Park.
With plenty of frontline additions already been made at Selhurst Park, including Patrick Bamford on loan from Chelsea and Conor Wickham making the switch to Sunderland, it’s hard to see where Gayle fits in. With Pardew also having a spot for Glenn Murray in the starting eleven, that limits the 24-year-old even more.
