Crystal Palace Winger injured in warm up game

Crystal Palace winger Chung-yong Lee was forced to leave the game between Crystal Palace’s development side and Bristol City’s Under 21s.

Lee started the game alongside fellow first-team players Connor Wickham, Jordon Mutch and Alex McCarthy but was substituted in the 24th minute and replaced by Jason Lokilo.

There is no news as of yet as to what injury the South Korean suffered.

The winger has only recently returned from injury, and was using this game in attempt to regain some fitness, so to leave midway through the first half is a major blow for him.

Crystal Palace signed Lee from Bolton Wanderers on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee earlier this year, but the South Korean international has failed to make an impact on the first team so far.

As soon as any more news is released regarding the nature of Lee’s injury, we’ll have it for you on Read Crystal Palace.
