Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is reportedly set to make a sensational move to sign former Newcastle winger Hatem Ben Arfa.
The controversial forward split hairs in Tyneside whilst he was in the Premier League but also produced so many moments of magic that got fans off their feet and celebrating.
Ben Arfa made 72 Premier League appearances for Newcastle; scoring 12 goals under Alan Pardew’s stewardship. However, things started to turn sour for the Frenchman and he went out on loan to Hull in 2014 and made just eight appearances for the Tigers before being released by Newcastle.
He officially joined Nice at the start of this year but couldn’t play until the start of the current season, which he has been setting alight in Ligue 1. Ben Arfa has played 13 games for Nice in the league and already scored an impressive seven goals.
Now, with Ben Arfa looking more like his old self; Alan Pardew looks set to give him a return to the Premier League with Crystal Palace.
