Crystal Palace have rejected an offer of over £40m from Manchester United for defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United have seen their attempt rejected as they look to sign the right-back this summer.

The report claims that this is the second bid United have failed within their pursuit of Wan-Bissaka, who enjoyed an impressive campaign with the Eagles.

Wan-Bissaka was a standout at right-back with his sturdy defensive displays, catching the eye with his excellent one-on-one defending against opposition wingers.

Crystal Palace are said to be holding out for a fee in the region of £60m, which would make Wan-Bissaka the most expensive right-back in the history of football – at just 21-years-old.

The Telegraph claim that Wan-Bissaka is a priority target for United, as they look to strengthen their squad, which means that they may come back with another offer for the England under-21 international defender.
